Our credit union was chartered in 1952. Membership was limited to telephone company employees and their family members. The original credit union was operated out of the home of Ray and Marjean May. After their retirement, Tom and Doris Fletcher took over the management of the credit union. Today, the credit union is staffed by manager, Teri Romero, who is assisted by Alexis Aragon and Kay Payne and Monica Aranda. Our members appreciate the personal "down home" feeling they experience when they walk into our office. They brag about our service, which they claim, is out of this world and yes, "se habla espanol".
Any person who lives, works, worships or attends school in Chavez County is eligible for membership in our credit union.
